Afternoon all, unsure as to whether it's just myself, but the download link isn't currently working for myself.

It's on your side. Download working as intended with Firefox 58.0.2 without any issues.
Maybe you need to whitelist/exclude our website in your security software -> *.cheathappens.com and try again.
First of all thanks for the quick trainer, it's working great.
Secondly for anybody having problems I've found that if you have the expansion enabled and you activate (F1) the trainer in the game and NOT on the main menu it's works every time.

EDIT: I just wanted to say that I did found out that when you are already in game and you load (or re load) a game then the trainer crashes when you press 1 (numpad)and you have open it again, but it does work.

Numpad 1: Reset Trainer - if the trainer stops working between missions,
between loads, or when changing to another game mode, just shut
the trainer down and relaunch a new trainer. The best rule
of thumb is to not activate the trainer until you are actually
in the game and moving your civs around. Pressing this option
will close the trainer.

You can try #4 in the trainer download list as this is the last one for the base game -> Link
Other than that there won't be any future trainer for the base game anymore.
