Unfortunatly it is getting more and more common. We have become a society where we need to have instant gratifcation with perfect* results. In the end everyone winds up unhappy.
*Perfect is based on the unrealistic expectations of the end users in this case and is entirely what they think it should be or do and how it should be or doing it no matter how impossible that may be.
