UPDATE 10/22/2017: The block on our site has been removed thanks to the dozens of users that helped prove to Malwarebytes that our site is safe and the block was an error.

    ------

Beginning on Friday, October 20th, Malwarebytes began blocking the entire cheathappens.com domain via their software, marking us as a MALICIOUS website. This is completely false. We have been in business for 18 years, have over 3 MILLION subscribers and host no malicious content. We have a full clean bill of health by 64 different security scanners INCLUDING Malwarebytes at VirusTotal:

    Link

We started a thread at the Malwarebytes forum to have this false block removed, however so far they have refused stating only that it's due to PUP.CoSMOS. No specific file or URL.

    That thread is here:

    Link

At this time we recommend that any and all Malwarebytes customers or potential customers please reply to the thread or start a new thread asking them to lift the block on our URL. This block will affect trainer authentication and also hurt us financially where we cannot produce as many trainers if they scare off potential new members. You can also email them at [email protected]

Should they continue to take no action or provide us a way to remedy it, we will be pursuing legal action for damages.

At this time we recommend that all Malwarebytes users UNINSTALL the product and request a refund for any paid premium subscription and replace it with another security suite that does not falsely block our website.

We appreciate everyone that supports our site and helps us to remedy this situation.

Always disliked Malwarebytes. Never responsive to customer issues.

Well, I loves me some Malwarebytes, the program itself does get rid of A LOT of crap.
But this is just stupid, they practically did the same thing with Advance System Care and labeled it a PUP.

Id just say screw it and go for the legal action, I complained to them about the ASC crap and got a reply from them, cant remember what it said, but it was a lame excuse.

So to avoid it I had to white list ASC so it wouldn't detect it in scans.

As for the Website blocking on MB,
Those with a Premium Sub can just disable the realtime scanning, or browser protection aspect of the program and it should allow access to CH.

Those with the Free version of MB should not run into that problem
But thats still bs for them to do that.

    -

I see what the problem is now..
They are blocking the site because CH uses CoSMOS, or cosmos that is like CoSMOS as a Potentially Unwanted Program due to how CE works and thus how the scripts/trainers work that were created by it.

Yeah they pulled that crap with ASC to.

I can say Chris that they are set in their ways when it comes to this type of thing, if you have legal means of resolving it then that is the only way it'll get done.

This is like the old securom not letting you use Daemon Tools.

No 3rd party program has the right to prevent the use of another.

    Big down-vote for MWB.

MWB has been quite trigger happy recently.

This is not the first site in my bookmarks, that I know to be safe, getting hit.

Well i'll be keeping it installed purely for the occasional scan and the likes but for general day to day use i have it completely disabled,

Ended up with one of their old 'lifetime' licences from the old trialpay website many moons ago so refunding isnt going to happen

A damn shame that they are flagging up false ideas like this though
    Intel i7 13700k, Nvidia RTX 3090, 128gb ddr5 5600mhz, 2x1TB Samsung EVO nvme, 4x 500GB Samsung evo ssd sata3, 1x 6TB Mechanical WD sata3

If war is what Malwarebyte wants, then a war they will get.
Thanks for sharing the information though. Unblocked the site manually today.
