Hi all, if you decided to join for free to test things out for a bit prior to premium, and buy one trainer for say Mass Effect 2, and then you happen to update it a few times, are all the updates free after you have purchased the original trainer?
I was thinking of buying the Mass Effect Andromeda actually and was wondering if it would be a one-time charge and if all those updates would be free after the purchase.. Just curious.. Thanks in advance!
EDIT - Noticed that Andromeda is a premium only after posting, however does this still hold true on older games?

Yes, any game that is labeled for individual purchase is a one time charge. You get all future updates at no charge.

thanks, i might decide to buy the premium since I want to play Andeomeda, however I don't like dying all the time lol. I don't think you have that game up for individual pricing.
Since I am a complete noob, does your site work whereas if you bought the game (MEA) and you got the trainer, does it mean every single time there is some patch to the game, you would need to download the new trainer? Or would the old one still work with *just not as much stuff?*
Thanks, last noob question for a bit lol.

It just depends on how much was changed with the update. Minor changes then trainer might still work. Major changes, likely not. There is no definitive answer and also no guarantee that we would update the trainer indefinitely. If it changes too frequently with major parts of the game engine switched around we have to basically start over and we don't do that more than a handful of times before retiring the game.

Thanks for all the hard work you guys do. I did not realize how much work it was until I read another post where you explained it. WOW.
Anyway, I find the model of buying individual trainers per games easier and better suited to my style vs buying the Life Time subscription.
I notice though that not all games have the option to be have their trainers bought as an individual purchase - for instance Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Why is that the case?
I would think this would be an option across all games as in for instance my case you would eventually end up making more money from me than if I bought a Life Time subscription as I would continue to pay each time.

Some games are not put up for individual purchase immediately, but eventually will be, unless they have been retired or patched over 20 times and require a lifetime membership.

Oh I see. Deus Ex Mankind Divided does have over 20 patches.
I guess I will have to pick up the Life Time subscription after all then.
Thanks for explaining. 🙂
