Just wondering as to why my anti-virus(mcafee) is picking the latest trainer/editor up as a remote access tool : home.mcafee.com/VirusInfo/VirusProfile.aspx?key=245206

False positive. You'll probably need to create an exception or disable maybe uninstall the A-V.

There is no option at the moment to save the values next to the hotkeys.

Turns out, once you've used trait points for a species (during creation) the points become unavailable for future genetic modifications. You end up with negative gene modification points.

For example I gave my species when I created it all the positive traits and then saved it and exited so the other species would not have the same amount of points to spend (why do the points affect the AI also and not just the player?).

So in-game I go to the "Contacts" screen and click on the "Species" tab. I have -30 Gene points! Well I click on one of the alien species I encountered (on the right side of the same screen) and he has 0 gene points (because he spent the correct allotted default game amount when the game was started). Later in the game you can get extra gene points/trait points to spend to alter your species for different climates, worlds, etc if you get the right tech.

So I figure I can just use the trainer option "Change trait points by" and sure enough my gene points increased. Well I check the aliens gene points and so did his!

Isn't this like having an invulnerable option that makes the enemy invulnerable as well? Isn't there a work around for it so it only works for the player and not the ai? I am not quite skilled enough in CoSMOS to create and compare structures to do this, although I have tried.

Can we get this option "fixed" for Player only?

Also is there a way to overcome the Leader Capacity limit via the trainer? Thanks!

Cant download the trainer. It simply says unavailable!

same here - coming up with unavailable when I try and download.
