Keyboard and mouse exclusively, I tried a gamepad once and didn't see the attraction although I believe they are superior for games that require driving a vehicle accurately. I couldn't even play GTA4 because I just couldn't handle the controls for driving the car (WASD) fast enough. Borderlands on the other hand, had nice driving mechanics (mouse only).
