THAT sort of thing.. otherwise, I am loading people's saves, running around for 15-20 minutes and nothing is crashing..

Anyone who sent a save game, THANK YOU, but I need to know more details and what to do. Otherwise, I am waiting for random 'crashes' that may or may not happen...

this isn't the only title we have to support, and I can't spend 5 hours a day on it trying to reproduce situations out of thin air with no specific instructions

The way to recreate the game crash.

1. Start the trainer. Start the game. press F1 in main menu (Activated). Load the save game. Use options 1 6. Enter into the right portal.

2. Attach save file

3. GOG verison 1.1.11(beta). Version of the game 1.21

4. 1 6

This steps causes 100% crash the game to desktop.

I just did this and no crash. weight option worked and also i walked into many many portals with no crashes..

try deleting your custom trainer keys if you made any. It appears you have a crapton of items in your inventory. in fact it takes several seconds for it all to appear... are you pressing the inventory option BEFORE the game is done displaying it? Also, the inventory option is to be used ONLY after you pressed I to open inventory. And it's best not to move the mouse around at all.. just press I for inventory, press numpad 6, then press I to leave and I to come back and see that it has increased.

i am really perplexed. so far I cannot crash this game here! even using your saves!

Set health option works with Caretaker but not with Iris' Ghost, It sets my health to 1 instead of the Ghost's.

This savegame I am attaching is right after a big fight and it goes into a cut scene. After the cutscene the game ctd every time consistently. I have tried running as administrator and without, both in online and offline mode. I am playing on windows 8, and it is a steam version of the game. I tried pressing F1 at the main menu and separately alt-tabbing and pressing F1 with the trainer selected. no matter which way i tried the game just ctd after this cutscene with no options turned on. Hopefully this will help!

I noticed after the ctd it actually made some sort of witcher debug text. maybe it would be helpful. the following is the text from the file.

For Steam users:

For some reason I managed to temporarily fix the CTD issue by verifying the integrity of the local files. When I verified the files, it downloaded a 4.5 MB file and the issue was fixed for two days until the problems returned again.

I will try clearing out some inventory space to see of that helps.

for me most of the CTDs happens when transitioning between areas like portals and when cutscenes changes location within the same cutscene, though they can also be entirely random as well, especially the western part of the map.

The teleport to marker is not working properly when I am in Skellige, keep falling through the map, it is all within the same island. Why?

I used to get around that by Teleporting while sitting on my horse. Even did that when I tried to land on a building. That fixed falling thru 99.9% of the time.

I am using the witcher character.. I have no idea who caretaker nor who ghost are.
