I noticed after the ctd it actually made some sort of witcher debug text. maybe it would be helpful. the following is the text from the file.

I have downloaded the latest trainer on 3rd June, I'm playing now Blood and Wine for several days now (now: after the mutagens in prof's lab, southern area of the map). Until today, both the game and trainer worked well.
Today the game started to crush quite randomly. The game mostly crushes when I try to use portals or transferred from one place to another. Or when it tries to load a cutscene after another. Or just like that - probably when I try to save the game.
When I don't use the trainer, the game runs well, no crushes at all, no problem with portals or so.
Although I don't get any error messages like the previous user who reported such error.

I will try to play the game tomorrow with the trainer again. I don't know why it started to do this, because until today there wasn't any problem... 🙁

thanks all of you for the submissions.. it helped.

we can much more quickly solve nasty bugs with games/trainers when people give us useful info about the game, their OS, where you got the game, and send us a savegame that repeatably has the ability to reproduce the error.

in this case, even THEN most of the savegames we didnt have the crashes here either!

glad it worked out. sorry the problems, we simply weren't having the same issues here.

Thanks for the fast reaction! 😀

A little additional info from my part: I use an older Internet Explorer (IE 9), because I use older trainers, too (like Drakensang). Could that be a problem?

Because I have such crushes at the Divinity Original Sin trainer (in that case the trainer crushes with an error message like mentioned here previously, but the game runs further well...)
