since there are no update request the trainer must work fine

Please use the update notification system to report a game patch, update or to report that the trainer may not be working with the latest version of the game. If 3 or more reports have been filed, consider BOOSTING the priority of this title for a faster turnaround on the updated trainer.

Are you using any mods? I just tested the latest trainer with latest steam version (activated trainer at main menu) and crafting menu works fine.

I also just tested it and I'm having the same issue. Sometimes the field crafting menu is there but usually its not. Also you cannot interact with the workbench which makes the game basically unplayable. It's a weird issue but it definitely seems to be caused by the trainer. As the others said, the only fix is starting a new game and not using the trainer. I'm using the Epic Games version, not sure if the issue is only with that version possibly?

No, I also downloaded the EPIC version started a new game and I can open workbench or crafting menu without any problems. Please see if it also happens for you when you start a new game. I cannot imagine why it should be savegame related but this is likely the only difference between us.

It seems to happen after about 20 - 30 minutes of playtime on average. I started a new game and it did it again just after finishing the prologue. I started for a third time without using the trainer and its working ok now. It's definitely trainer related as I tried using another trainer and the issue was not there. I'm happy to use that one for now, just wanted to point out the issue as clearly others are also experiencing the same thing 🙂.

Nah, happens to me as well, all saves if I use the trainer. I put in a report/request about it.
