you can use the trainer to give stat points and skill points.
giving stat points lets you allocate them, they become permanent allocations once you leave the char page for that character.
you cannot allocate ally skillpoints, as those are allocated automatically, based on the character in question (might be editable somewhere in the files, since you can edit traits yourself as well), and the points will be spent once you go to sleep for the night.

both of these are permanent, but some characters have really ****ty max skill values/allocation schemes.

Hey, I'm not complaining, I've playing for a while through all the bugs, missing icons and erratic behavior. And I still love the game. Most zombie-games are first/third person hack 'n shoot, this one is strategic, has a storyline and base-building too. Although I would have loved being able to build a radio tower at the base and let the radio-dude continue transmitting from the shelter.

Last time I tried, I could allocate stats and skills to allies, and when I returned to base, they retained them. But as soon as I went to bed or left the shelter with other allies, they reset. So the best I could do was to take the maximum teammates, max them all, return, assign them to a build/repair job (now being mechanic 10) and skip to the end of the workday. Having to redo that every day became annoying, so I stopped. Now I just get as many allies as possible (much easier with a time-stop since I don't have to build that Garage first), and assign 15 of them to construction work while I go out foraging to keep morale and food up.
I understand why they reset, of course. Ally-skills are assigned through plot choices.

They updated again, current build is 1.0.0049, and current trainer crashes.

Waiting would be a good thing. A few days to see what they plan on doing without a trainer hurts nobody - and time to write a trainer for either the buggy patch or the rollback would of been wasted.

seems most people agree , the majority are happy to wait until patches slow down a bit .

it should be ok within a few days

im sorry if some of you think i belittled a member here for his post but self entitlement is a real button for me .

Thanks to everyone for the input , good luck with the game . im finding it fun with merely the AP cheat engine cheat .

im going to need fuel soon though
damn empty cars already been siphoned .
