Trainer was not made for the Origin version and it will not be supported. You can buy the game on Steam and trainer will work fine.

the location of the game has changed on Origin.
old: C:\Program Files (x86)\mass effect 2
new folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\origin games\mass effect 2.

enable the console is the best solution.

Is there any way to get an "origin" trainer for the latest version of Mass Effect 2? How much does making a trainer cost? I play this game a lot along with the rest of the series and would be willing to help fund it. I just like playing for the story though, not so much the challenge which is why I love your trainers so much!

Two posts above yours, PWiz says that there won't be a trainer for the Origin version. If you don't want to buy the Steam version and want to play solely for the story (minus the challenge), I suggest playing on casual.

The solution I have found to get the trainer working with the Origin version is to use the Vitality no-CD Crack. You will need to place this in the \Mass Effect 2\Binaries folder. Make sure to rename the old file called MassEffect2.exe to something like MassEffect2.exe.bak. The trainer does not have to be in the same folder as executable but you should at least make an exclusion or disable you Anti-Virus program. Hopefully the solution I used works for anyone else.

I'm good at following instructions but unless I have a recipe, im pretty useless. If you would be willing to walk me through how to properly implement your fix I would really appreciate it. If not, i understand; explaining stuff like this can be a pain. Thanks

I am also running the (Origin) Digital Deluxe edition file version 1.2.1604.0 and product version 01604.00 containing all digital downloads and all your trainers just crash. Does CheatHappens.com have a moratorium against Origin?
