I'm not sure if this has to do with using the trainer to rush research points or not but it's my guess that it is. I'll have to run a full game without it to find out, will take a bit to be certain.
However, it appears that rushing research too quickly has some interesting conflicts with the new World Congress. Since you get 1 turn research until pretty much near the Atomic Age, you blow through all the ages forcing the world to rush through ages faster than the game would expect and faster than the vote processes of the World Congress (since the standard vote happens every 30 turns and you'll blow through an age faster than 30 turns with the research points).
The result of this is that after the first time you can propose resolutions in the World Congress, it gets stuck and for the rest of the game, World Congress no longer works for anything other than the special sessions for picking a host. You are unable to vote on or enact/veto any resolutions and any resolutions proposed by dead civilizations get stuck enacted for the rest of the game (in my game, Celts banned marble and for the rest of the game, even after they died, marble ban was always proposed and enacted).
So i'm curious if there's a way to set research points like policy/faith points or have it as a toggle function or have it like earlier versions of the trainer where you gave much less research points when using it.
I haven't experienced this problem, but It does become hard to get policies enacted because were always voting on hosts or the world leader. It would indeed be nice to have a toggle function for research, or at least to be able to reset your research back to normal progression.

This is a screenshot I pulled off of Reddit. It's what the resolution voting screen every 30 turns looks like. There's supposed to be a "Special Session" where you vote for the host and then normal screens every 30 turns that look like the one in the screenshot where you can vote on and propose resolutions.
Using 1 turn research, I have never seen that screen. I've only ever gotten special sessions. I'm currently in the middle of a game to try and push through without 1 turn research to see if this makes any difference though I have to advance to printing press and find all the civilizations to get World Congress which I haven't yet.
You had a ONE MONTH TRIAL account which has now expired. You will need to upgrade to our yearly or lifetime membership in order to continue using the trainer.
