    Hi,

you're right, I use IE10. But how's that a problem, as I download the trainer with FireFox. I'm no coder, so could you explain me what exactly on IE10 is causing that issue. Also I received IE10 with my normal Windows 7 updates.

Secondly, I will try to use older trainers on my newer computer, but I'm very sure, I have IE10 there too, but there the trainers do work (also running on Win 7 x64).

But thatnks for the headsup. Much appreciated.

IE 10 wasn't meant for windows 7, it was meant for windows 8 but Microsoft wants everybody to have their latest turd so they put it in your automatic updates. Basically it changes the way your OS works and makes W7 work more like W8 when it's not meant for that. It doesn't matter if you use the program or not, if you have it on your PC it can cause problems.

You can turn off automatic updates and uninstall IE 10 if you want. You will still get notified when updates are available but you choose which updates to download.

Also, trainers that are made compatible with windows 8 should not have problems with IE 10 installed.

The reason being is this file urlmon.dll is different for IE10 and is not compatible with older trainers, newer trainers are being built to cope with the newer IE10.

The trainer uses this file to communicate to the site to make sure you are legit to use the trainer.

Thanks for your answers. Now I understand.
Okay, I have deactivated IE10 via Windows functions... I don't need it anyway.
Sadly that didn't fix the problem. Trainers still crash.
Is there something else I should try, like reinstalling IE9?
Or should I do a complete restart? The system didn't asked me to restart, so I guessed everything's fine now...

You have to get rid of IE10, or else the new urlmon.dll is still on your system. So uninstall it and revert back to IE9.

Is that all it takes? I don't need to modify/delete any registry settings?

That's all it takes. It's all I had to do to get my old Trainers working. If on Windows 7, you go to your Programs & Features, View installed updates, then select Internet Explorer 10, push Uninstall. IE10 is not really meant for Win7 anyway. Since I use Firefox anyway, I dumped it. Now my older Trainers work again.
