Tomb Raiders have always been Linear. Always one way, with secrets along the way.
Nothing has changed, OP is an idiot :P
There is no need to insult the guy. Just because you don't agree with his opinion doesn't mean you are given the right to insult him.
I'm of the same opinion as DABHAND though i would have been more diplomatic about it expecting a Tomb Raider game to be anything other than linear is akin to expecting a Bethesda game to be totally Bug-Free and work out of the box or for a Ubisoft game to be correctly optimized for PC doing so is illogical and will only lead to self inflicted skull bashing on a nearby door/wall
I don't agree with the OP either. I like that Lara is now based in reality and isn't used a sex symbol anymore. I haven't really noticed anything wrong with the game. It is working fine for me.
Exactly. Wouldn't it be better if you could play in 1st or 3rd person like Skyrim and free roam anywhere around the island gathering up supplies, crafting weapons, using the cover of nightfall and the dense forest, swamps, etc to stealthfully pick off enemies, set up traps, hunt for food and water that you actually need to eat and drink to survive, change outfits... More sexy stuff is always welcome in my book. I don't play Tomb Raider games because I believe in the whole gender equality nonsense, I play because I want to see a half-naked chick running around. Imagine free roaming in your camo lingerie, covered in mud, and taking those big bad meanie menfolk down after discovering your inner va-jay-jay goddess superpowers. Sexy.

That's why I like the new Tomb Raider. Lara isn't being used as a sex symbol. She isn't being paraded around in skimpy outfits.
She has been reworked to be a realistic character. I like what the developers did to her character. I like that they are giving her character development.
