As long as George Lucas has no say in the games, I couldn't care any less about the movies.

this deal has given great opportunity to Disney to do amazing things with star wars, but that doesn't necessarily mean they will.
with Disney being the giant corporation that they are, they don't really care how amazing something turns out, they just care how much money it will make.

IDk,i'm old school. I saw the orginal in Santa Barbara @ the Arlington theatre in '77. Everyone whines about how George lucas ruined Star Wars. What they don't realize is that he was a huge part of the original that made Star Wars the mega success that is is.Heavily influencing the Sci-Fi genre.And spawning countless rip-offs.
I just don't get the hate. the original trilogy and the new ones were all about Anakin Skywalker,his fall And redemption,not about luke.A lot of people are unaware of that as well. So,IMO,Geaorge Lucas didn't ruin anything. The movies make perfect sense.If anyone should be mad @ anyone,be mad @ R.A. Salvatore,after all he did kill Chewbacca.
No, George Lucas is a sellout, I've read that he even sold out on the original trilogy to make more money off of it, being that he should have killed Han Solo and not had the Ewoks exist. The silly man-***** just made things worse later on. Yes, the story would be about Anakin yada yada, but there's no need for the likes of Jar Jar Binks and all the other horrible, horrible, needless choices that existed there. I'm quite glad Disney has taken over, giving the reigns to possibly a more responsible director who is more interested in the story, I think that being the huge corporation they are, they're wiser on their decisions to make money off of something, so instead of adding a fluffy, stupid, loveable character to make toys, they might have some better ideas to sell to an older audience. That's wishful thinking though and there's probably going to be a battle on mickey mouse island between darth aladdin and captain jack sparrow.
