I'll say what I've said every other time this topic has come up. George Lucas not writing or directing the next Star Wars film is the best thing that could possibly happen to the franchise.

There's only one new trilogy and Disney owns the rights to it.
Even if what you said was correct, the last Star Wars film that wasn't written and directed by George Lucas was The Empire Strikes back. He effectively still had more control over that movie than he would over the next trilogy and it's generally considered the best of the Star Wars films.
Also, considering the quality of Marvel movies since Disney's acquisition, I don't really think there's much to worry about. Maybe we'll get Joss Whedon directing Episode VII.
