also, to become a hollow again just kill yourself and don't chose to reverse hollowing at a bonfire.

I just pulled the network cable out of my pc and play that way, i was origionally going to stay hollowed but the game still seems to force u to invade other peoples games without giving u a choice.

And even trying the offline mode via the GFWL doesn't help?

how do you actully go to offline mode? for GFWL.

When game starts press HOME it will show the GFWL menu, and you can use an offline profile.

Or you can be off the net or block the game from going on the net if you want.

Can someone tell me if you need a GOLD Live membership to play online????

Because I keep getting the message when I start that I don't have Gold and can't play online, so the game will start in offline mode...WTF????

Gold membership for pc games has been abandoned 6 months after it was introduced in Gears of War (pc). Are you sure you're not on your Xbox?
