I am sick to death that Microsoft keep changiging their Windows, next we all know is windows 8!Windows 7 has not been out long enough in my opinion now they are going to bring in windows 8 Yes we all know what its about $$$$$$$$$---££££££££,but that does not help people who have to change their Desktop or Laptop, etc because their Graphics card is no longer made ( i know you can upgrade but thats not how my contract works),i have a running repair contract @£10:00 per month.

What happens then and its happened to me twice is that this contract changes via vouchers so you can purchase a new PC, to an equal specification or higher, the contract is great value for money, but i am sick and tired of Microsoft keep changing the windows system, for me in my opinion windows XP was always the better system, and yes i know there is always bits and pieces that makes a difference.

So what do other members think about keep changing these systems is it a pain in the BUTT or not.

i been looking at windows 8 since december. to me it's windows 7 that has a 'tablet interface' added to it. you can still use the desktop mode on your pc, which looks and acts just like windows 7.

pretty much that is it-

best,
Cal

OS uprades used to be about utilising new technology which couldn't be incorporated into existing Operating Systems. Now it's just to introduce more gimmicks and one or two new technologies.

Not to mention getting to charge people another £300+, and you know there'll always be an insane amount of people who will buy a new OS even if they don't need it, just to have it or they see a bigger number on the front so they automatically think it's better.
