    When you "open" a weapon in coalesced.bin you will see

    encumbranceweight=(X=2.0f,Y=1.4f)

    for example

    so simple changing it to (X=0.0f,Y=0.0f)
    should give it 0 weight increase for that weapon

    as always try and test in game if it works.

    Can one use this editor to either reduced the damage done by reaper beams or give total immunity to reaper beams?

    Thx

    Thx

    to my knowledge no, thats not possible in coalesced

    till someone finds out another way of course

    Hmm i checked in to this targetting laser itself
    Which is the targetting laser to target the reaper with.

    located in bioweapon.ini > sfxgamecontent > sfxweapon > heavy > geth02lasertarget
    2 values there maybe can change the "rate" the beam itself works with.
    namely
    beaminterpspeed = (X=20.0,Y=20.0)
    and
    beaminterptime = 0.5f

    playing with this values could let the beam "fire" way quicker

    which might help you to defeat the reaper

    Should one lower or make the number higher?

    You can change the reapers's speed on the galaxy map modding this value:

    biogame/sfxgamecontent/sfxgalaxymapreaper/maxspeed

    Heh, nice find. Haven't modded it yet but I just might on the next pt... constantly loading game for 1 asset which turns out to be a small pile of fuel is getting old and irritating.

    Wait... the Reaper progress is determined by speed? I thought they advanced a little after a major mission was complete... but they move even while you're sitting around having a conversation?

    This is the "chase" speed of the reapers on the galaxy map when the normandy is spotted after scanning planets and they enter the system.
    So you can just scan away all you like and they'll never reach you.

    Thanks for this great thread. Everything works fine but has anybody yet figured out how to unlock all research/ammo or how to enlarge icons & subtitles? To small when using a downsampled Res of 2880x1620

    I dont get it

    "bioweapon.ini > sfxgamecontent > sfxweapon > heavy > geth02lasertarget"

    So if I understand this correctly this refers to the reaper boss at the reaper base?

    I noticed a few things, damage and tracerrange. I can guess what tracerrange is for but need to make sure weapons is for that reaper boss, since I like to see if can change the tracerrange=35000 to tracerrange=0 might allow me to kill reaper boss without getting killed in process.

    Thx.
