So i was browsing the Dungeon Defenders official forums and apparently they are working on VAC securing the game wich will ban everyone that uses a trainer.. just thought i'd let you guys know. Kinda sux that they take it to such an "extreme" i mean it's not a competative game, but oh well.
They need to be spending time fixing their broke ass game so that it doesn't need to be patched every 5 hours instead of trying to ban single player cheaters.

True, and they are, however they are banning them because the trainer works for online atm, and people are hacking the chars .__. so its rather justified, I'm ALL for hacking, cheating, w.e on single player but this trainer works online so..peeps gonna be banned xP
It's strange as online unranked imports your offline character(the one that you can use the trainer on) to use. I have never tried using the trainer for online modes as I thought it's not suppose to work. And the official Trendy Entertainment ranked server just DCs me after 3 waves so I can't play ranked anyway...

Actually, if you read more carefully you would see that VAC security only applies to the online 'ranked' play. As 'ranked' play game data is stored on the cloud and not locally, the trainer won't even work on it anyways.
The 'open' play is okay to use the trainer on and won't result in a steam ban as it is meant for modding etc anyways.
