There is no offline mode...Hence no cheating. Sucks. So far gameplay is great but you can only play if you connect to battle.net and that sucks cuz i don't always have internet spec on travel. Game is fun have not played with anyone but not having the option of playing offline is a real downer and means you can't cheat or have trainers that they can't detect.
heh, i see some people her say they wont buy it bekaus its online so you cant cheat????, then i say your to adited to cheating
The reason I refuse to buy it is because making the game always online is a stupid idea. All it does is hurt the customer because if Blizzard starts having problems or if servers go down people can't play the single player portion of it.
The game should have an offline mode so when this happens they can still play the single player without having to wait for Blizzard to fix it.
Its a shame you have to be connected online all the time to play single player, Always will find that a down point in games. Yeah its a shame you wont be able to cheat. Cause I do love my mess around saves. But oh well. Skills test here we come. But after watching some live broadcasts from friends and a recorded Lets play. I still bought the game. Even thought paying nearly £50 for a Digital version.
With time and evolution of one's life, other aspects become prime - such as work, friends, outdoor activities, etc. And when that happens, you won't be compelled to waste hours in front of a screen, virtually attempting to live. To conclude, due to aforementioned aspects, trainers help speed up the process of finishing a game and are MOST welcome for those who love the story behind a game, rather than the - at some point, repetitive - gameplay.
