Dungeon Keeper: The Deeper Dungeons Message Board  

hello i have been trailing through the internet trying to find help with this and cant find an answer so thought i would try on here. Ive got the game installed running it through dosbox i get to the games main menu click the deeper dungeons and it says please insert the cd drom i am running the game from the cd through dosbox tho does ny1 know how to fix this problem. Help would be much appreciated.

I think there is a setting in dosbox to set up a CD-rom/DVD-rom drive to be used.

In olde days of Windows 95 etc, to set up a CD-rom you had to use a command called mscdex.exe in your autoexec.bat file

something like this

mscdex /D:CD01

And your config.sys file had to have it set

DEVICE=C:\CDROM\xxxxxx.sys /D:CD01

the xxxxxx would be the filename of the driver for the cd-rom.
