I'm not going through Steam now. I couldn't use the trainer with it. I'm using the direct Dungeon Siege III.exe, that does work ok. But, I suppose that's updated by Steam, so now I'm even more confused. I will keep experimenting, I guess.
The 'One-Hit Kill' option works fine as long as my character is travelling alone. As soon as I picked up Anjali from Stormsong Cavern, my character died instantly every few seconds. She would get up, take one hit & die, over and over again until I switched the option off. Weird Huh ?
Using the "add experience" option should take care of the first one - just use it a lot (and I mean a lot) early on and you'll get to level 30 by the end of the prologue.
As for the latter - there's a savegame editor that has been written for the XBox 360 version which can do some of that. I've contacted the developer and sent him a few save files for the PC version, hopefully a PC editor will be available soon.

So none of these trainers work with my game. Are these meant for the US version? If not will there be a US version? Also how do I tell what version my game is I cant find anything in the online guide......
i also want an Option with that Stats increase. theres no need for a Level Down Option, but an Status Option like increase Strenght +1 or increase Endurance +1 would be really awesome.
or just an Save Game Editor how i mentioned before, where you can manage your Status, Skills and so on.
Bought the game last night online via gamestop digital download, turns out it was steam version.
How do I tell what the version of the game is?
When I do properties check on the application launcher, the details say: File Version 1.0.0.0 how do I tell which trainer to use, So far I have only downloaded the latest version, but my game keep crashing.
Internet Cache was cleared, Trainer and game both set to run in my windows 7 compatibility mode and run as administrator.
I was very puzzled by this too, hours deleting/reinstalling, only to find out Steam is a necessary part of the equation. Someone else can explain this better than I can, though. I believe you use the most recent trainer, since Steam does the updating/patching automatically. If one trainer doesn't work, try another, I guess.
