I just downloaded the game from scratch on Steam. I then downloaded YOUR customized trainer. Ran game, went into game, ran around for a sec, pressed F1, heard activated, then activated again and all options worked fine. Something on your system is blocking the trainer or you are simply not using it correctly. I did not hear any trainer activated sounds in your movie, BTW.

I don't mean to sound like a negative nelly but I too am experiencing these problems. I was using the 1.0.4 trainer the other day and it was working fine. I had a harddrive die and had to reinstall Windows 7 and now i'm getting the problem these gents are saying they are experiencing. I load the trainer / game. Move around a bit, hit F1 and it says Trainer activated. Wait a few for the second and it says Trainer cannot find game (this is running game with no UAC on). When watching the trainer screen and hitting F1 it says Game Found! Searching for Code. then later says Game Not Found! I will try and delete Terraria and let it redownload and also re-download the trainer.
EDIT: Completely reinstalled trainer and game and still getting the same results.
I found that I had to re-download the trainer to make it work. D not know what is going on with it but when I download a trainer it works for a few hours then stops working, then I have to download it again. At first I thought it might be harddrive failure. So I cleaned, defrag and tested it again it worked then it stopped working again and had to download the same trainer and delete the old no function one. This is all with in the same version. I tried storing the trainer on different harddrives same thing. I am wondering if windows vista/7 prefetch is corrupting the files.
Also just because you pay for a service does not mean it should be upto date 100% of the time instantly. If you see a patch come out you know generally that the trainer will most likely not work with the new version. So wait on the new one to come out without complaint. Some of you with the holier than thou attitude I would just remove from my site and let you find you stuff other places. But these guys work hard at keeping the trainers up and current so stop complaining or don't let the door hit you where to good lord split you!!.
I'm experiencing the same issue that everyone is talking about here. Started using the trainer a few days ago and it worked fine every time. Without changing anything on my system since then (no new installs, downloads, etc), I get the "cannot find game error" even after waiting upwards of an hour before activating. I've tried it with AV disabled/uninstalled, firewall turned off, and followed the directions for operating the trainer and nothing.
It was working earlier today. No Windows updates or anything. Played for a bit, powered down, turned back on and not working.
