So,just wondering your thoughts on this game so far...
Waiting to get mine when iam paid.Tomorrow or friday.

It's a rush job. Worth a rental but not the purchase tbh.

Combat is fun if it was an action game. Story is awful.

Don't even worry if you lost your Dragon Age 1 saves because so far, after importing a perfect DAO save I discovered that Bioware managed a miracle. They managed to make the Dragon Age franchise's import function have even LESS of an impact than importing in the Mass Effect franchise and that's saying something.

There's also some laughable difficulty scaling issues. A sign of lack of polish. And I don't mean hey it's too hard on nightmare. I mean like, on the same difficulty level.

And you have random problems like casting Blood Magic in front of Templars not even eliciting a response. lol? They managed to at least script this into Baldur's Gate 2 but they couldn't in Dragon Age the spiritual succe-hahahaha.

Or times when Templars would burst into a room after you fought like a random spawn (don't even get me started on the random spawns) of like 20 mages and they'll be like "WE CAME TO ARREST THE MAGES" and there are more dead mages than living ones. Or guards with the audacity to say "Hey man quiet night" after you just killed like 50 bandits in front of them so the room looks like a slaughterhouse.

EEEEEE you said one of my fav games from back when I was young lol Baldurs gate 2 what a great game. But I digress from the thread.

DA2 is not a flop as people suggested, the variety of paths to the end is good, so much actions make other actions in the game open up.

Like be niceish to Sister Patrice opens up a whole new ball game much later.

Being Mage friendly opens up new avenues

Being Templer friendly opens up new avenues

Hating both opens up new avenues (the way to become Viscount :P)

One bad thing about DA2 though, is the map repetition. They could have easily done much better, but overall the engine is much smoother, loading times much shorter and your main character actually speaks which is a bonus.

I would give it 80% not the 90%+ many review sites are suggesting, but Bioware will no doubt bring out a nice selection of DLC with new maps etc and no doubt the big expansion :P
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

When I look at it again. I feel they dumbed it down in the action and took it to the silly end.

i would have never thought that i need to say one time that im dissapointed from playing a bioware rpg.

but this time i'm very disappointed.
this is more a castlevania style hack and slay with awful story than an good rpg game.

the sequel ruins this franchise for me.
    R.I.P Dragon Age.

waiting now for the witcher 2 and elder scrolls v skyrim

not sure I have not looked that deep into it. I am having to catch up on TWEE cause I lost me save. But it continues on from what I read. So I would believe it would have. But that is my own thought on it.
