If it's really an anti-cheat system. Isn't it Cheathappens job to get around it?
we can assume the anti cheat was put into place to prevent people from tampering with the game due to the MULTIPLAYER component of the game. i have experienced NO games that have all these anti-cheat measures in them unless the game has a MULTIPLAYER component to it. so with that said, we do not condone cheating of any kind when the game deals with MULTIPLAYER issues. atari has obviously done something here to prevent cheaters from ruining the game due to the ONLINE and MULTIPLAYER portions of the game. therefore we aren't going to chase down their anti-cheat measures, especially in this case since the anti cheat measure isn't repeatable easily.
as far as my 'job' here, that comment is out of line. there is no guarantee of us creating or updating trainers for ANY title, although i think you will find that there are NO OTHER SITES that even come close to what we do here. pushing this any further gets us close to the line of defeating game protections and the like, which is NOT what cheathappens is about.
i am still not convinced that this is anti-cheat anyways..
Well I think it is some sort of anti-cheat, because if I use the trainer the game acts weird (freezing, fall threw the ground, etc) and if I don't use the trainer I've got no problems whatsoever. All other parameters are the same.
It's not AC, it's because the timer is getting used for more than just certain race-related stuff.
TDU1 had the same thing happen, with holes in the ground, except with TDU1, the timer used to prevent traffic was also used to update the ground & world LOD. Hence... holes in the ground, and the world assets all of a sudden becoming very low quality or becoming non existent.
So it's a simple case of that "function" of the cheat needing to modify the particular race-related game code that reads the timer. Not just NOPing the game code that updates the timer. Can this be way more of a pain in the neck to do? Sometimes.
HI guys, I've been running online and offline mode and I really start to see that it is a bad stability of the game itself as soon as you run something else with it. I managed to crash in Offline mode with the trainer activated at the end of A7 High series, on the final step. I restarted without the trainer and it worked, i restarted without the trainer and wireshark and I crashed after 20 minutes of roaming. At one moment, the game is "overloading" on some maps and generate a kind of mem overflow. So this is not CH stuff, it is just bad QA process on Atari's end. I think the best option for this game is a savegame editor. That was my two cents after 2 days of trying to get it work
which island is it occurring on? Hawaii where on the island? Varies with gold bomb mission locations can you repeat it over and over? Yes which car? Any timed convoy DLC mission (gold bomb) or timed mission (normal bomb or race) if repeatable can you send save game? No as I'm not sure where they're stored
I've not had any holes ingame when driving around with no options activated, it worked fine for one mission (WRX timed) then the ZR1 mission holed out on me with the road not loading.
