CHEATMASTER
That's the anti cheat Atari put in I hope you guys aren't posting on their website asking why you got water splash...Lol that's the anti cheat. I am too lazy to try to reproduce it because for 1 thing i am very busy with the wife and kids.

I thought it was a server bug but i think it's more or less an anticheat to countermeasure the changed value.

Maybe the value went over a cut off value so it activates the water hole on the roads.

i doubt it is the trainer causing it ... well it is causing but only because we have used some gigantic values for our cheat.

I got a feeling it has something to do with server sync and timer. But i guess i could be wrong because i dont know what the heck i am on about lol. But i know one thing for sure: this game is broken by noob coders at Atari.

not to be a **** but i have read nearly ALL the posts here refrence giant holes, freezes, and such like even on the steam forums, people that "DO NOT" use the trainer "DO" experience some glitches "BUT" not to the extent of Giant holes or map freezes so common sense will tell you that the trainer is at fault or for arguments sake the built in anti-cheat system. the first trainer worked "WITHOUT" a problem funny that after the "updates" from atari things started going wrong now cheathappens can blame ATARI or the servers for this problem the fact remains it these glitches only happen when using the trainer

sorry about that rant over please CH keep up the good work!!!

Does that not lead you to believe that perhaps ATARI added in some anti-cheat protection to create these issues? Does our trainer also affect the X360 and PS3 versions of the game, because people complain of the EXACT SAME PROBLEMS on those systems. Of course, I'm sure that's the trainer's fault too.

I guess we should just retire the game since it's obvious that people don't appreciate the work being put in to keep up with all these patches and the trainer is useless anyways.

It's most certainly an anti-cheat system and to be honest, I don't think you'll find away around it unless you dedicated a lot of time to it which may not be worth doing.

As long as people have access to the original version of the game they can simply uninstall the current version, reinstall the original v.55 version and block the TestDrive2 and UpLauncher executables from accessing the internet.

Then they can use the original v.55 trainer without any anti-cheat issues. Save games also work between versions, so they can later allow the game to update once the trainer is no longer needed and carry on as normal.

Because of that, it's probably not worth trying to bypass the anti-cheat stuff all the while that it's likely Atari will keep patching the game.

Either way, I'm glad you made the original trainer. It makes the game playable.

If it's really an anti-cheat system. Isn't it Cheathappens job to get around it?
