It is an RPG but he has a point. You need leather, iron, steel, wood, fabric and so on to upgrade your armor, gloves, weapons, shields etc.
If possible could you add either "pause timer" of "run faster" to the trainer
I'm with these guys...I mean having unlimited gold helps, but you end up buying ungodly amounts of armor you don't really want, just to break it down...and then it's still hard to get the resources you need...like chainmail...can't find that stuff ANYWHERE, so I've avoided upgrading to higher level armors just because I won't be able to upgrade it and it's not as good as my fully upgraded (or at least, as far as I can get it right now) elven armor...
If I could have a request though, it'd be to freeze timer.
I just can't get past the Rustler's Run quest. Character keeps running into leaves, grass and rarely branches and stopping completely, or from all my efforts not to run into a strand of grass that blocks movement I end up following the trail shown rather than the map and veer off course for too long.
If at least there was a working speed cheat, perhaps I could just run the race myself
A trick I found for racing horses that might not be immediately apparent is that holding W forces the horse to turn to where you're looking, and A and D force a more rapid (and harder to control!) turn. As far as Rustler's Run itself, the trail is actually pretty close to the fastest way to get through it, although there's one spot that it forks around a bush you have to watch out for - maybe try jumping over it? It's tricky though, I agree.
