Compltelely off-topic, but does anyone know how to get the REAL flags into the game i.e. that germany has the flag of the third reich instead of the imperial flag?

I cant ask in the paradoxforums because paradox are completely hysterical and allergic to any questions on the subject...

I dont wear riding boots and matching pants nor do I own a brown shirt - but the inaccuracy is really annoying and political correct which is even more aggravating.

Actuallly what I need is a mod or just the right mapfile for HOI2 Arsenal Of Democracy, because I have given up on HOI3 right now.

you look at the game and the flags bother you how about the year the war started and the years the four super powers entered it

If you havent got the answer then why dont you go to a forum and discuss it - where somebody can actually understand the context of what you are saying and is interested.

The flag file for Germany is saved in [gamefolder]\gfx\flags, as GER.tga, replacing it should change the image, the resolution is 93*64.

The flag is probably de-nazified due to some countries having laws against such symbols. I might make a mod of this later.

I guess besides of the flag, you'll also need the pictures of the man with the funny mustache and his friends
Simply download the Demo and get the germany.txt file from common\countries folder (for the right names of them) and the gfx\pictures\portraits folder for the portraits.
copy and paste and voilá -- uncensored
