I can't fully explain it, but RPGs tick all the right boxes in terms of enjoyment for me.

I guess I'd have to go with Shooting because of Halo and Grand Theft Auto. Most of the games that I by occasionally are shooters too, like CoD4, The Godfather, Saints Row, Red Dead, and soon Mafia II.
I do play a fair bit of racing games but I never get as excited for them as I do for a new Halo or GTA game. Racing games don't really change all that much.
