So just to bring some positivity, I created this thread where you post good things about your parents.

My dad is very liberal-hearted, he can give almost anything when some asks for it, it can be a problem, but I adore this quality. He is loving and caring as well. As much as he makes me hate him, he makes me love him as well.

My mom is like a carebear, she is always with me when I need someone to depend upon. So she is my emotional pillar - Always tolerates my antics and forgives me whenever I ask for it. I owe too much to her, and will always keep loving her!

i LOVE that when i want to buy somthing and i'm broke my mom or dad buys for me whatever i want, and when i also have saved alot of money and i dont wanna spend all my money they also buy for me whatever i want.i like it when my dad watchs WWE with me

I love, that they love me and support me with everything. They don't tell me i can't do something, they bolster me and help me if they can.

They are also there for me, when i need them.

they love me and get my what i need and many more things .....

My dad's smart, which has all kinds of benefits. He also helps anyone he considers a friend as much as he can. I've seen him fill tax forms and immigration forms for dozens of family friends who aren't so good with English so they don't have to go pay someone to do it for them. And he never spends money on anything that isn't top quality, regardless of what it is. He doesn't spend tons of money but when he does he makes sure it's on something reliable and that works right.

As for my mom, there's literally nothing I can complain about her aside from the fact that she's cheap. She hates spending more money than she absolutely has too, regardless of how much better something is than the alternative. In that way she's the total opposite of me and my dad. Aside from that she's as good of a mom as I could ever hope for.

well..what i like most about my folks is..if u can convince them..with logic..no matter how ridiculous an idea might seem..they'll go for it..whole-heartedly.

I love my parents. I can't live without them. They cook, clean and look after me. They're like servants (but free).


...Nah, I don't do that. I try to help them as much as possible now...they're getting old. They've done so much for me since day one and there's no way I can repay a debt like that. The only thing I can do is show respect and kindness, but that's still not enough. =\ I guess another way to repay them back is to not put them in a retirement home.
