as far as i know all new ubi games starting with silenthunter5 have it, at least that was the plan. any game not made or produced by ubisoft shouldn't have it, (crysis 2 and deadspace are made/published by EA. idk what sc2 is though)
@whit3ghost ya that's easy for you ppl who play on consoles but us pc users are always getting f*cked in the back from companies like ubi. it doesn't work either b/c all it does is give the crackers more of a challenge (not the i condone that). and they have been putting out less and less demos for computer users (at least the kind were u can play the bloody game, videos aren't the same.)

I gotta disagree, sure it's not pitch perfect, but the old one had a lot of good new ideas. If you have seen any of the new trailers, you'd see that Ubi fixed a lot of the old problems, as for multitplayer i have mixed thoughts. Finally the DRM system is there to stay like it or not.

what do you work for ubisoft or something? i hate when ppl approach it like there's nothing they can do about it, that just shows the company that its ok and that they'll get away with it. i don't mind typing in a cd key but not having my save games on MY hdd is bull. if you read a EULA you know how few rights us customers have to begin with (we're like this -> <- close to not even owning what we bought and payed for). further more i refuse to pay for anything with that kind of drm on it, if that means i miss out on a good game then so be it but i wont give them my hard earned money for something i can easily get for free when they treat me like a theif anyway.
as for the movies, video can be edited or created any way you like (and i have seen some of the newer clips) but i hold my retractions for when i see some real gameplay or a playable demo.

Mind your manners towards other members. Some people don't mind the restrictions the developers put on their codes and you need to respect them on that decision.

with all due respect, im not trying to insult the guy/girl but i cant respect anyone who cant respect them self enough to stand up to bullies, which is exactly what ubisoft has turned into. also if you look at the post i see nothing insulting pointed at him, asking if he works for ubisoft shouldn't be insulting(should it?) and i only asked that b/c it sounds like he endorses the idea of treating customers like theives.
further more (and still with all respect due) how can anyone support or respect anything so disrespectful as the new drm used by ubisoft, i fully understand that a company has a right to protect its property but when does that cross the line into fascism, I'm merely saying that more ppl should stand up for themselves and their rights.
