Let me just say this, laptop for the win because not only are they faster, but they are easier to use and most of all they have been around much longer than macbooks. Yes, I've used many macbooks but the thing I don't like about them is the single clicker, it just downright annoys the hell out of me.
So, my HP laptop is my big like rather than macbook
(get a new mouse, not a big deal)
Anyways if you've had viruses in the past, Macintoshes are better because it's very unlikely you'd get a virus on them because they come with a great security system, and the OS is easier to use once you know how imo, and i think it'll be easier to do all your art stuff on it too. this is all imo ok?

A MacBook running boot camp literally sounds like a plane taking off. There's no way to shut the fan up and the laptop grows hot for no damn reason. If you can live with the Mac OS X software and have the money to shell out, then you can make a Mac work.
If you need Windows for any reason, get a PC
