Aside from the weapons training course what other training courses can you take and how can you take them?
My guess is that it has something to do with the background you pick for yourself when you create your character?
Since this is my first play through I picked soldier.

Weapons, Gadgets and Stealth. Just go to one of the three doors in the room with the TV and the lockers. Try to score over 100 in each training session to unlock a bonus challenge from each instructor.
