I'm new here, but this layout looks really nice. It's very clear and easy to navigate.

Dhampy, we should just toss every other out the window and that exact image as the website.
And I like the idea of having a little messenger type thing. I've seen websites that have it. Then instead of always having to make new topics on the OTD (because you know you're going to get off topic when you just wanna chat with peeps) You could just have convos on there.

I don't think it would be moderated at all...just like private messages...

If you do opt for another layout, i think you should incorporate an invite only board in there. Like a 'Lifetime Members Forum' hidden from other members but somewhere people can have challenging debates or mature discussion without having to worry about the younger or immature members being involved.

I specifically remember requesting the same thing multiple times throughout the past. I never got a yes or a no on it...
IIRC, the reasoning behind it was that an author or unl-only board would take away from discussions on GD.
OTD took away from GD discussions in a good way though, making GD a more serious discussion based forum; maybe the introduction of an Unl only board could have a similar effect.
Personally i think it would be alot better if, instead of having it for unl members or authors only. have it for members that like prove themselves on the forums if u kno wat i mean
