it's understandable for you to be afraid of insects and not of spiders, as spiders are arachnids, a class of their own. and instead of killing the bugs, you could try and catch it and than release it outside or something. or leave your window open and hope it flies out or crawls out before something else comes in.
I'd get "a big strong man" to help me, but my boyfriend is 4,120 miles away, and he can't kill crane flies from that far.
I'll just have to hide until we're close
