How do you set waypoints in the game with your PDA?

To do this, select a location with your mouse and use your Fineaim/Scope button to set a waypoint on any location on the map.
To check which button this is, access: Menu >> Keyboard Mouse Options >> Keymapping >> Equipment: Fineaim/Scope button.

Sorry that didn't help all I wound up doing was setting a waypoint that was nowhere NEAR where my cursor was at that point and I have no idea how I did that. This game is flawed!
