Alright boys and girls.
I have a challenge for you.

May fifth marks the one-year anniversary for me and my boyfriend. I need to get him a gift, but we've agreed to keep it fairly cheap since money's tight right now. I have NO IDEA what to get him.

About Him
Name: Z
Favorites
Color: green
Candy: M&Ms
Soda: Mountain Dew
Comedian: George Lopez
Sport: Football (the american kind)
Videogame: He likes star wars, and any sports videogame
Movie: (anything that he finds funny)

Things I've given him in the past:
Valentine's day- a bag of hershey's hugs&kisses and a framed photo of us together and a giftcard to the movies
Christmas- 2 george lopez dvds and a framed photo of just me, and a giftcard to gamestop
His Birthday- a big teddybear and a new sweatshirt

Come on guys I really need your help. I don't know how to get him something nice, while still keeping it cheap. i want this anniversary to be perfect.

GO!

P.s: I had a blog about this before but i wasn't getting a whole bunch of replies.. zero replies actually. And I really need some great ideas.

Make him a gift. A gift made with tender love and care, that come from the heart is best kind of gift to give a loved one regardless of race, gender or age.

Firstly, "Z" is a stupid name. In-fact, it's not a name, it's a letter. Is his name Zed? I would accept Zed. My name is Jay, not "J". Secondly, you say "cheap" but, that's fairly relative, could you give us an actual budget? Thirdly, George Lopez is rubbish. Fourthly, Why would you give someone a picture of yourself as a gift? Fifthly, Why are you telling me he likes Mountain Dew? Are you suggesting that it might influence our gift ideas? Most of that information is pointless unless you are nudging towards a M&M soaked in Mountain Dew, signed by George Lopez, bought at an American football stadium, with a picture of Darth Vader playing baseball etched into the side of it. If you can do that, do it. I know I was taking the **** but, that would actually be amazing.

Make him a card. Don't buy one, but make one. Hell, make him a big-ass card out of the thick construction paper with a collage of items (Such as George Lopez playing football, being tackled by Darth Vader and Ocho-Cinco, fumbling the mountain-dew 2-liter bottle, landing in a pile of green M&Ms)

You could also attach a bag of M&M's and put the whole thing in a bag with a 2-liter of Mountain Dew (Kept in another bag within the bag to prevent condensation damage to the collage).

This handmade gift detailing all his likes will be awesome to him methinks.

Z for Zander. Short for Alexander. I've called him Z since I met him.

I gave him a picture because he asked for one.

It's just all his favorite stuff, which I thought would give people a general idea of who he is, which might allow people to help me think of ideas.

Try not to be too negative towards everything everyone has to say, Dancer.

@Foxxie: Thanks. I think I might do something like that, but I don't know where I'd get all the materials

Most of the materials would be simple to get. The paper for the collage would be at any craft or office supply store I think (And if you need to back it a bit more, you could try a sheet of cardboard).

Then you could print out various pictures of the people and items, or draw them yourself if you're the artistic type.

I think he may enjoy it if the bodies were hand-drawn, and the heads were printed pictures that are bigger than the bodies (Chibi style I think you could say).

Plus Darth Vader, Chad Ocho-Cinco, and George Lopez are fairly easy people to get pictures of on google search =3

Your biggest expenditures would be the soda and candy I think.

I'm not negative about anything. You must just read my posts with an angry voice in your head.

This is pretty much how I approach CHU

I suppose I do have an "angry voice in my head" problem.
but please don't make fun of my boyfriend's name.

And again Foxxie, you are very helpful. Thank you
I think I might just do that
