Anyway, I wasn't saying all Americans are fat. I don't even know how you could have taken that away from my original post.
The idea that the adverts tell you to eat fatty foods then tell you to lose weight, then offer to help you with your consequent heartburn, then help you to sue them afterwards, is funny.
Adverts in England don't slander other companies as much as American one's and we seem to mainly advertise sofas, anti-ageing cremes and other things that are on TV.
Having said that, adverts are the reason I don't watch very much TV.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'
Having said that, adverts are the reason I don't watch very much TV.
I don't either, once I find a TV show I don't mind eating infront of, I tend to just watch it on my computer. Adverts seem to turn the TV into a Trojan horse that invades your house and attacks your sense of self.
