and then you have a long list of techs to edit. Basically all you do is change the number in the second row to 0 for all techs. Save and load the save in game and you see all techs researched leaving you free to build churches or inns. You don't need to keep the university building.

Anyone else wnat the pack file manager for Napoleon? This is better than the esf editor for editing unit stats.

In the lower right corner of the box it defaults to the empire total war save folder but click the drop down arrow to select all files. Click on the The Creative Assembly in the address bar and select the Napoleon folder>save_games folder and select the save you want to edit.

It lets you increase troop sizes.
In ketzer's guide for mass armies in the link I gave above, you would edit preferences.empire_script.txt, changing the line campaign_unit_multiplier 7.5. This would give you 1200 men per unit. A possible 24,000 men (1200 x 20)fighting for you and a possible 48,000 men on the battlfield if your enemy had a full stack. I tried it once and it slowed my game down to a crawl so you better have a top end gaming rig.
