Ok i know there is alot of debate over this but does any one know who was the executioner of King Charles I, so if any one knows who it was please tell me.

well it's not really known... Richard Brandon was approached to do it but denied some people said he was later forced to do it, and that he later admitted to it.

Executioners are masked for a reason--to make certain that the state and not the man is given credit/blame for the death.

It's impossible to know, all of the discussion is based on hearsay and rumor.

Yeah its a strange story, but its likely to be someone English. Charles the First was a Stuart with Scottish Royal Ancestry Blood running in his veins.

But it wouldn't have been uncommon for a family member to have done the deed to move up the ladder so to speak.
