Im currently playing loki as a norse character and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to beat fenrir. can someone offer some assitance?

i played it long ago ..if i recall correctly then u should keep hitting fenrir ( i think its that wolfs name) till he turns red..then lure him to the trap which is laid in this cave ...if he goes over that trap while he is red ..he will get caught....
