What is the problem you are experiencing? crashes, no start up, activated but nothing works.?
When I double-click the trainer I istantly get a small window telling me that the "(games name) trainer has stopped working". Then it does a quich search for solutions but finds nothing. This all just happened out of the blue, all of the older trainers are still working fine, Borderlands, Dragons Age, Far Cry 2 ect, It's just the new Trainers that refuse to work for me. Do you know what might be causing this to happen?

Have you double checked to make sure that your version of the game is the same as the trainer version? any minor difference would cause the wrong value in memory to be changed, and therefore, possibly causing a crash. If that is not it, check to make sure that you do not have any antivirus programs that could be limiting the trainers. Those are the only two things that I can currently think of that would give such an error. Let me know if that is of any assistance. If not, can you try to reinstall the game, but keep your game saves, if possible, to the original version. And them try to use the original version of the trainer? perhaps a patch was not properly installed; I have had it happen to myself in the past. Sometimes the patch files are slightly corrupted; downloading from a different website, or server could fix that problem. Also bad sectors on your hard drive could be causing a local corruption of the patches, try saving the patch files to a separate hard drive, or flash drive, if available. Let me know if any of these things help.
Its near close to impossible to have bad patches, most have CRC checks to make sure the files are intact before installing. So if there was a problem they would not install.

Even though it is not common, I have had patches that did not install correctly, and as a result, the game was slightly messed up.
CRCs are very reliable, but there are rare occurrences in which the CRCs do not recognize errors.
I was thinking of any possible situations in which, given his computer is secure and does not contain any viruses, it would give that result.
So even though a bad patch is rare, and may not be the culprit of his problems, the rest of my suggestions may be viable.
And I try to use paragraphs; It's just that I was always taught to use six to nine sentences per paragraph, not two. My apologies for making my typing difficult to read.
