I voted for Anywhere because I did not find "All of above".

I cannot think anywhere...Especially when on the road! Can you afford to think when you got a car coming for you?

Life is best for those who enjoy it, difficult for those who analyze it and worst for those who criticize it.

I drive 50 miles nearly everyday to go to school or to work and that's when I think the most out of my day. Either there or in my bed. I like to let my mind wander and think about the most random things.

When I listen to music, something in my brain clicks and all of these creative ideas for music videos or movies start coming in.

edit: (sorry, I forgot to quote)

To kog:When you get too much concentrated on thinking (aka deep thinking or something like that) diffusion of neurotransmitter slows down.

Which causes motor, sensory and relay neurons work slower.

When this happens, you will probably end up finding your self on the ground with bleeding knees etc etc. Which would be really hurtful.

I don't know how you run but I can't do that.

Are you serious? You really can't think of ANYTHING else besides the movement in your legs while going for a jog of sorts, if so your full of it or something is wrong with you. It's not like your meditating during the run. I've been going for 6 km runs daily for last 5 plus years I think I know what I'm talking about.

I was not aware that one had to think about walking or running. Unless your legs suddenly change length, it's not something you need to think about. Indeed, the entire coordination of walking is something so complex that the human mind couldn't possibly work it out consciously.

My point, however, was that while in deep thought you don't necessarily pay attention to what's going on around you--time seems to pass without you knowing, people come and go without you noticing, etc...

In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'

I think you have misunderstood what I am saying and this thread was originally about. When I go for a run or jog of sorts I use that time to reflect and think through and day I have just had or going to have, not go into this meditative like deep thought you guys seem to be thinking of, but all I do is simply reflect, nothing more nothing less, sure I've got my eye on the road ahead, but it does not in any means mean I can't be thinking about anything else as well. I don't speak on anyone else's behalf, but I've ever been in a state where time seems to pass without you knowing, people come and go without you noticing, etc... UNLESS I was sleeping or that time I ****ed off my head with Alcohol.

I would. And that would be "How to dodge that ****".
