I can't remember which mission exactly, but it tells you to get to the control room (it's interior) and then tells you to "Get down the vent". However I can only find one vent, on the side of the wall, and it won't highlight so I can jump in there. Am I on the wrong vent or is this an error in the game?

Press and hold Q (if your using keyboard and mouse) to sprint down the tube, do not use the openings just sprint non-stop until you get to the bottom, but be carful there is a sentry gun down there that will fire on you almost ass soon as you touch bottom.
it is sometimes difficult to get down that vent/ hole as it actually is there! just try different ways either run into it as fast as you can or try back a bit away and aim at some different spots in the hole and try to jump to that surface! it is a bug in the game!
