there seem to be a hacked beta flowing around the net that allow you to play the maps with a AI on easy. While the beta only allows you to play in multilayer.
So the hacked beta is just the beta client minus matchmaking? Meh, its funner to fight something that actually poses a challenge. "Easy" AI are practically suicidal, sending 2-3 guys in at a time against your base defence.
After some research into the hacked copy floating around i can say a few things.. It uses a specially designed exe file to launch the maps directly. you can, as far as i undrstood it, only play versus one single opponent at a given time. The Ai and difficulty issue has been fixed with several "mods" that tend to come with any torrented download.. Aswell, the Ai always cheat unless modded not to. but who knows..? ultimately..
Ultimately.. I think its more worth it to wait for the real deal and enjoy the complete awesomeness. One should never pirate good games .

Ah.. also.. seems that on many of the hacked versions you never get to choose your faction either, meaning you are random every time and so is the enemy. not THAT big of a deal maybe but can be tedius i suppose. again, better to buy the damn thing

yea. i agree. its definitely worth waiting for the official release. although i have to admit i'm getting very impatient salivating over the screens they released
