Vanilla Sins/Diplomacy/Entrenchment - this one is because some people think Trinity is one game, rather than all three purchased in one package this is what i have above and it was patched as soon as i download it.
Sorry, I doubt I'll be much help- I don't have access to Sins or Impulse at the moment.
But you're definitely using Sins of a Solar Empire. NOT Diplomacy or Entrenchment? At the moment the only advice I can offer is try following the troubleshooting guide. I'll try again later when I can access my own copy and update it.

hi been with ya for years and great site. i know you said trinty works but does it work for impulse downloads too. i can get it to do any else after the f1 and it saids its enable but nothing else happens every last trainer i every download here works can u please tell me if i am doing something wrong or should check i have like 4 or 5 post about this in the forum but still no good for me.
yes game is patched have version 1.193 using the impulse download from gamestop and trinity bundle. i am running sin where you can select with chapter and yes i here enabled when u press f1 but the options dont work and it doesnt crash at all just doesnt work. you said all three in one and at the bottom of the sin screen in right corner saids 1.193 and that the trainer i download. thanks for caring
Given that you said it activates but there's no options - and this may seem like a really stupid question and I apologise if you take it as such - are you sure you have NumLock on?
Other than that I'm not sure what to say, other than the usual try temporarily disabling your anti-virus and firewall.

not stupid to me i feel stupid already ... like i said every trainer i ever used on the site worked and well...yes num lock is on. will try the others but i did disable virus thing already turning off fire wall ... thanks for caring
I was able to get one of these trainers to work with the trinity downloaded digitally from stardock, but that was a year ago and I forget which trainer I used, and I can't check my files because I have a new machine now. I know it works with the Stardock version, but with Steam, it does not want to work.

Trinity is just the three games packaged into one, so you'll need to download the three individual trainers.
