Anyone have any idea if you get a lockpick? If so... where from/when? Kinda tired of coming across locked chests...

he may be refering to undead beasts like lectors, you need the moonblade for that. As for lockpicking, its an interestign way of handling it. You'll get the hang of these bits quite early on
Naw, I was talking about the flying beasts (sorry for not clarifying). Specifically, I was after killing the one in the Nigh****ch building.
Though not long after I posted I got both lockpicking and ranged attack abilities - teaches me to be patient!
