Everytime I start up Borderlands and activate the trainer, it crashes the game while loading. I trie

Everytime I start up Borderlands and activate the trainer, it crashes the game while loading. I tried to activate the trainer even AFTER the loading and it still crashes the game. I'm using the Mega Trainer Steam+Retail 1.2. This problem is really starting to get under my skin.
