Darksiders: Wrath of War Message Board  

Wondering what simple but not obvious strategy I need to open the red and yellow sealed door that goes to stairs to Tiamat? I already collected the piece of armor and now Im back in the courtyard with the big metal angel statue in the middle and one lit up bomb dispatcher. I already also collected the boomerang (forgot the name) and did all the catacombs downstairs. I just need to figure out how to unlock or unseal better said this door but after two days dealing with Twilight Cathedral I am running out of brain cells and critical thinking to open the last door of this stage.

there is a chamber with three angel statues, the last sword is in a arena thing (where you kill some monsters and then the arena is lifted), it's halfway across the card^^ so you have to return then to the three angels room, then you unlock the door to Tiamat.
